A. DELIVERY INFORMATION AND PRICES
Waterside Roofing delivers Victorian wide via couriers and large semi and tray trucks.
Products delivered via postage couriers:
Trifixx screws and stock items will be delivered to Metro Melbourne, the Mornington Peninsula and the surrounding areas. These products include; silicones, duct tapes, silicone guns, riveters, pop rivets 100 and 1000 packets, any type of screws (specified on site), 1/8 snappy drill adapters, snappy bits, box of spot fixes, touch up pens, touch up paints, 10pk 1/8 drill-bits, double ended panel drills and magnetic hex sockets.
Laserlite products will be delivered via a courier service directly linked with Laserlite that caters for items up to 6.00 meters. Anything over 6.00 meters will need to be ordered through Waterside Roofing office at sales@watersideroofing.com or 5985 4441.
Delivery for Laserlite and associated products include; anti-noise tapes, one shot screws and polycarbonate sheeting 2000s or 3000s will be delivered directly to site in Metro Melbourne, the Mornington Peninsula and the surrounding areas.
Delivery for Metro Melbourne, the Mornington Peninsula and the surrounding areas for Trifixx and Laserlite products, will be a combined fixed rate. Please see pricing when you go to order.
Waterside delivery for roofing products and Bluescope Colorbond/ Zincalume material:
Roofing sheets and wall cladding, gutters, steel fascias, downpipes, flashings, insulations, and all associated accessories will be delivered directly to site via supplier, large semi courier and availability of truck services.
All delivery prices are associated with postcode for the products previously mentioned.
PLEASE NOTE: If Laserlite and Trifixx items are brought with priorly mentioned roofing products, then all delivery prices are incorporated together for all selected products, unless specified via delivery cart calculator/ or quoted delivery price if postcode does not come up in cart.
Delivery is still available for zones outside standard delivery areas. Therefore, please contact Waterside Roofing office at 5985 4441 or email sales@watersideroofing.com for a custom shipping price.
Collection is available for all orders at 40 Peninsula Avenue, Rye 3941.
PLEASE NOTE: Waterside Roofing may request confirmation of order purchase on pick up.
Due to Health and Safety regulations and to OH&S policies, our office may ask for a picture of the vehicle before pick-up. Please secure appropriate transport before collection that safely transports the items’ size and weight, as it’s a breach of the law if the trailer/ vehicle is not up to standard. Vehicles that are deemed inappropriate will not be loaded. In these events Waterside Roofing personnel have the final say.
We also ask for you to bring assistance if required when collecting goods from the store.
Due to OH&S, we are unable to manually load up orders onto your vehicle. If applicable, items can be forklifted next to or near a vehicle if deemed safe to do so by Waterside Roofing personnel.
PLEASE NOTE: Delivery of items over 14.00 meters have a surcharge. All items over 14.00 meters will need to be ordered through the store. Please email sales@watersideroofing.com or call on 5985 4441.
B. REFUNDS AND RETURNS
1. Modifications of Orders
Orders placed can only be altered on an order-to-order basis at our discretion, due to custom lengths etc.
2. Cancellation of Orders
Due to all orders being custom-made to specifications, orders cannot be cancelled unless written consent is given by Waterside Roofing’s online sales team.
Special orders and non-stock goods cannot be returned to the store for a refund or a credit, due to the nature of the products. However, each case will be reviewed individually, so please contact the online team as soon as possible on 5985 4441 or at sales@watersideroofing.com. Therefore, we implore you to double check colour, measurements, and items before ordering.
3. Returns
Waterside Roofing has the right to refuse any return of goods.
Waterside Roofing will only consider processing / accepting returns:
- on non-custom items;
- if goods are in original condition. Therefore, anything with scratches, blemishes, dints, or any damage will not be refunded or accepted as a return; and
- only if notification is given within 7 days from date of delivery or pick-up.
There will be a 15% handling charge issued for all accepted returns, calculated from the order amount. Any fees accumulated via delivery couriers and all surcharges that come from suppliers will need to be paid by the customer. For example, freight charges and minimum order charges will not be refunded. Cost to return goods will be at the customer’s expense.
4. Exchanges
It’s up to the customer to check products before purchasing items. However, customers may be able to exchange non-custom items (in original condition) for goods valued at the same price or less than the original item’s value. Please understand that due to the nature of the products that every exchange request will be processed on a case-by-case basis, with some or none being accepted in each purchase order depending on items brought and at Waterside Roofing’s absolute discretion.
5. Refunds
Waterside Roofing will only consider processing refunds:
- on non-custom items;
- if goods are in original condition. Therefore, anything with scratches, blemishes, dints, or any damage will not be refunded or accepted as a return; and
- only if notification is given within 7 days from date of delivery or pick-up.
The final decision will be at the discretion of Waterside Roofing.
Custom items include: roofing and wall cladding products, gutter, fascia, Laserlite 2000 and 3000 (polycarbonate) products and flashings, any product sourced via Waterside Roofing sales team, any product that requires custom lengths or measurements.
Non-Custom items are downpipes and accessories, insulation, fasteners, and stock items.
Due to the nature of our products, we recommend that before any items are purchased that the correct colour, length, and quantities are all correct before purchasing, as we are not liable for customer mistakes or changes of mind.
6. Damaged or defective items
Before a customer uses the material it’s up to the customer to check goods before usage.
Our freight companies and delivery drivers take photos before leaving drop. Any damage that occurs once our delivery driver finishes placing items at the site is the customer’s responsibility. If products are damaged via customer when delivery driver is still at site, then liability falls upon customer.

Please note if a claim arises then the customer must make the claim within 7 days from when the item was delivered or from when items were picked up from the store. All claims should be sent to sales@watersideroofing.com. Any claim lodged after the 7-day timeframe will not be accepted.
C. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. How will online orders be delivered?
Waterside Roofing’s online team will coordinate various transport services to provide every customer with quick and reliable service. Trifixx and stock items previously mentioned will be delivered via a courier service all over Victoria at a fixed rate. Laserlite products and associated accessories previously mentioned will be delivered via a tray truck or courier service depending on order placed. Roofing material and associated products previously mentioned will be delivered either on a semi-truck or tray-truck depending on order and suppliers, couriers, and Waterside Roofing’s availability. For more information, please contact the office. Once an order is placed confirmation of delivery dates will be sent to the customer. However, these dates may be subject to change at our discretion. In such cases an email will be sent to the customer to reconfirm delivery dates.
2. How long will it take for deliveries to arrive at site?
Generally, most deliveries will take up to 2 working days after the day the order was placed in metro areas and some regional areas. However, in some cases it may take up to 4-5 days depending on the location. Waterside Roofing’s top priority is providing every customer with quick and efficient deliveries. Orders are processed Monday to Friday on a daily basis. If deliveries are delayed Waterside Roofing’s sales team will contact you with an updated delivery date. If orders are needed for the weekend, please place orders before 2pm on Tuesday to allow enough time for orders to be processed, however we cannot make any guarantees.
3. How are deliveries received on site via customers?
Customers may need to be available for delivery to site depending on size and weight load of order. However, every order will be reviewed before delivery.
Our suppliers couriers will leave delivery in the safest spot available to them. Delivery drivers will have final say on this matter. All orders are photographed to confirm the condition of items that have been left via the delivery driver. We do not accept liability for stolen or damaged goods once items have been delivered. It is up to the customer to accept any unfortunate consequences once the delivery driver has left the site. All requests for contact prior to deliveries will be placed on purchase order with the courier, however the arranged delivery agent is not required to make contact. Please provide all necessary information to increase the prospects of a successful delivery to the site. Unclear, incomplete, or inaccurate information may result in items not being delivered.
Please review the site before delivery, as most deliveries will be done via a semi-truck with a small crane attached. Due to this, please review sites for dangerous obstacles, for example turning space and power line placement. Please note that if the site is not properly reviewed then this may prevent delivery and items will be brought back to the factory.
However, all drivers will attempt to place goods in the desired location if the request is reasonable. Drivers will have the final say in all matters.
4. How are your custom roofing products priced?
Roofing, guttering, Laserlite (polycarbonate) sheets, steel fascia and flashings are priced per lineal meter.
5. Is GST included in all your products?
All Waterside Roofing prices have GST included in their fixed prices. There should be no hidden costs.
6. Can I get flashings custom made?
All custom-made flashings are made or ordered through the store. Please click on the supply link to obtain the ordering form for custom made flashings or send a picture of requirements to sales@watersideroofing.com.
7. Can roofing products come in custom lengths?
If the lengths specified on our online site are not what you are after, please contact our friendly staff for ordering via; sales@watersideroofing.com.
8. Are your products made in Australia?
We are 100% Australian made. All our products are made in Australia. We supply Australia Bluescope Colorbond and Zincalume. We also manufacture ourselves!
9. What do I do if the delivery price does not show up in the cart?
Please contact our online team at sales@watersideroofing.com or on 5985 4441 for a custom shipping price if the postcode inputted does not reveal a fixed rate delivery price.
10. How do I get a quote for installations?

14. What happens if delivery access is unattainable?
It’s the customer’s responsibility to verify appropriate access for all Waterside Roofing vehicles including semi-trucks, tray trucks and courier services. A fee will be incurred if site delivery is unachievable.
15. What if I want to change a scheduled delivery?
Waterside Roofing’s online team must be notified 24 hours prior to scheduled delivery.
We will endeavour to implement appropriate delivery changes.
16. Unforeseen circumstances
If weather will prevent delivery, please contact Waterside Roofing’s online team as soon as possible on 5985 4441 or sales@watersideroofing.com. In an event of adverse weather, we will make every effort to reconfirm another delivery date as soon as possible.
If goods are required to be returned on pre-established dates and times with no prior communication, transport costs will be charged.
D. TERMS & CONDITIONS
A.J. Beer Plumbing Pty Ltd (ACN 069 212 120) (‘Waterside Roofing’, ‘us’, ‘our’) owns and operates the business known as ‘Waterside Roofing (ABN 80 069 212 120)’.
These terms and conditions apply to all goods and services provided by or ordered from Waterside Roofing.
By placing an order in relation to Waterside Roofing’s goods or services, you (‘you’, ‘your’, ‘the customer’) are deemed to have read and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.
1. All photographs or samples on display in any store or online, are approximate and indicative only.
And deviations therefrom shall not constitute a defect or invalidate your contract with Waterside Roofing or be made the basis of any claim made against Waterside Roofing.
2. Quotations:
a) Quoted prices for stock items are valid for 7 days.
b) Quoted prices for special orders are subject to review by Waterside Roofing at any time prior to invoicing.
c) Any quotation given by Waterside Roofing is only an invitation to treat, and not an offer or obligation to sell.
d) Variations to the quoted quantity may result in changes to the pricing. Such changes will render the initial quote invalid and will result in a re-quote.
3. Payments:
a) To the extent permitted by law all payments to Waterside Roofing are non-refundable.
b) All fees (including delivery fees) must be paid in full prior to delivery or pickup.
c) We will not deliver or release the materials until fees are paid.
d) We will charge interest at the rate of 12% per annum, calculated daily, on any overdue payment.
e) Payments made by credit card may incur a surcharge of 1.5%.
f) Notwithstanding delivery of the materials or their installation, the materials shall remain the property of Waterside Roofing until Waterside Roofing has been paid in full in respect of those materials. The materials are at the customer’s risk as soon as the materials are collected or delivered (as the case may be).
4. Orders:
a) We may reject your order if the product is not available.
b) If we reject your order, we will notify you as soon as practical.
c) If items are out of stock, we will notify you and cancel your order in respect of the items that are out of stock.
d) If your payment doesn’t process your order will be cancelled.
e) If your items are unclaimed at our store beyond the initial 7-day period, we will notify you again that your items are at store. If the items are not collected within 30 days, we reserve the right to dispose of them and if this occurs, we will not provide you with a refund or replacement.
5. Deliveries:
a) Materials will generally be delivered kerbside or such other location as the courier/delivery driver considers to be safe, at the customer’s nominated address.
b) Once items are delivered, they become the sole responsibility of the customer.
c) We reserve the right to charge you additional fees if delivery is unsuccessful due to safety, incorrect information provided by you, or factors beyond our control.
d) Any obligation of Waterside Roofing to deliver shall be discharged on arrival of the materials at the customer’s nominated delivery destination.
e) Any date or time for delivery provided by Waterside Roofing is an estimate only. If Waterside Roofing is arranging delivery, Waterside Roofing will endeavour to meet this estimate, however failure to do so shall not confer any right of cancellation or refusal of delivery by the customer, nor render Waterside Roofing liable for any loss or damage directly or indirectly sustained by the customer as a result of any delay in delivery.
6. Pick-ups:
a) We are not liable if inappropriate vehicles are used to collect and transport products.
b) We have the right to refuse collection if in our opinion your vehicle or trailer is not suitable.
c) Please bring assistance for heavy items, as we may not be able to assist in loading these items, and all items needing to be forklifted will be delivered next to the vehicle.
d) To the extent permitted by law we are not responsible for any damage to your vehicle at our site; the injury or death of any customer or third party.
7. Customer Installation:
a) Waterside Roofing accepts no responsibility in respect of materials incorrectly installed via customer.
b) Installation of the materials constitutes acceptance of the materials (and their quality) by the customer.
c) If estimated quantities have been provided by Waterside Roofing it is up to the customer to double check quantities with their tradesperson. Waterside Roofing will not be held liable for incorrect quantities for store/ online purchases.
d) The customer must ensure that products are transported and installed in accordance with all applicable laws, including the Australian Building Code and the appropriate Australian Standards.
8. Returns:
Without derogating from any of your non-excludable rights as a consumer under consumer protection legislation:
a) Waterside Roofing will not provide a refund, credit or return if you change your mind.
b) Waterside Roofing will not accept: partial returns; returns of spares; returns of leftovers or damaged items;
c) Claims for the return or exchange of materials must be made by phone or email, to Waterside Roofing within 7 days of delivery or pick-up, and – if we confirm that you are eligible for a return or exchange – you must return the materials to our nominated destination within 3 days of our request; and
d) If you believe you have received defective goods or services, you must contact us within 24hrs of receiving the goods or services.
9. Liability:
a) When we supply goods or services to you as a ‘consumer’ under consumer protection laws:
(i) the services come with non-excludable guarantees, including that they will be carried out with due care and skill and be fit for any specified purpose;
(ii) the goods come with non-excludable guarantees, including that the goods will be of acceptable quality, correspond with their description, and be fit for any disclosed purpose;
(iii) if we breach any of these guarantees you may be entitled to compensation.
b) When you are not a consumer under consumer protection laws our liability for loss or damage is limited to, as determined by Waterside Roofing: (in the case of goods) the replacement or repair of the goods, supply of equivalent goods or the payment of the cost of replacing or repairing the goods or supplying equivalent goods; and (in the case of services) supply of the services again or the payment of the cost of supplying the services again.
c) When you are a consumer under consumer protection laws, our liability is limited in the manner specified in clause 9(b) above only to the extent permitted by those laws.
d) To the extent permitted by law Waterside Roofing is not responsible or liable for:
(i) any loss or damage caused by matters beyond the reasonable control of Waterside Roofing (including, without limitation, acts of God, acts of government, war or other hostility, national or international disaster, fire, pandemic or epidemic, explosion, power failure, equipment failure, strike or lockout, inability to obtain necessary supplies and any other force majeure occurrence);
(ii) any indirect or consequential loss; or
(iii) any loss or damage caused by the customer or its trades, including where the customer or trades do not follow Waterside Roofing’s (or the relevant manufacturer’s) directions in relation to the materials.
e) The contract formed between Waterside Roofing and the customer when the customer accepts these terms and conditions by placing an order with or making a payment to Waterside Roofing, is governed by the laws of the Victoria and Waterside Roofing and the customer irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State.
f) Nothing in these terms and conditions purports to modify any non-excludable consumer guarantees prescribed by consumer protection legislation.
g) We reserve the right to update these terms from time to time, without notifying you. The terms in effect on the date you place your order will apply.
h) We may post links on our website, e.g. from third parties or manufacturers in relation to the installation of products we sell. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for such links or information.
i) These terms and conditions will prevail over any other information on our website or other written materials, to the extent of any inconsistency.
